The information below and on the Rental Agreement page of this website outlines our rates, terms and rental policies for both of our guest houses.

As of 5/12/08 our available dates over the next two months are as follows:

Hale Ulu Lulu is open
May 27th up to May 30th,
June 5th up to June 9th, June 14th and 15th, June 18th up to June 25th and June 28th up to July 2

Hale Manu is open to May 16th, May 26th up to May 30th, June 5th and 6th, June 10th up to June 13th, June 20th up to June 25th and from June 27th into July.

RATES (IN U.S. DOLLARS)


HALE ULU LULU (ONE BEDROOM):

For stays of three-nights or more, the rate is $225 per night plus 11.42% Hawaii tax plus deposit. For two-night stays, the rate is $250 per night plus 11.42% Hawaii tax plus deposit.
Two
person maximum (children in Hale Manu only - and must be 12 or older - sorry, we do not make exceptions).We only offer two-night bookings within two months of arrival.

HALE MANU (TWO BEDROOM):
For stays of three nights or more, the rate is $250 per night (up to 4 people) plus 11.42% Hawaii tax plus deposit.
For two night stays, the rate is $275 per night plus 11.42% Hawaii tax plus deposit. We only offer two-night bookings within two months of arrival.


In Hale Manu Only: We accept only one child (12 or older) per reservation. We have a four person maximum. Sorry, we do not make exceptions to these policies.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, personal or corporate checks, cashier's checks as well as money orders. Within 10 days of arrival we do not accept checks.
Except for bookings during holidays, we offer a 10% discount for stays of 7 nights or more. Please note: Until confirmed, rates are subject to change.

MINIMUM STAY

We have a two-night minimum stay for bookings made wthin two months of arrival. For bookings made more than two months from arrival, there is a three-night minimum. Additionally, please inquire about our holiday booking policies. We do not offer single night bookings.

AVAILABILITY

Please email us to request availability of your desired vacation dates. We operate on a "first come, first served" basis. We check email several times daily. Please use the word "availability" in the subject line.


CHECK IN/OUT

Check in time is at 4:00 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival and check out time is at 11:00 AM on the day of your scheduled departure. Our housekeepers are usually scheduled at 11:30 AM on the day of departure to prepare for the next arrival. If you require a different check in or check out time, we may be able to accommodate you depending on availability, however, it must be arranged in advance. Please let us know if you are arriving after dark, we are happy to leave the lights on for you.

POLICY ON RESERVATIONS AND BOOKING

The following policy applies to both guest houses:

Please inquire with us for bookings more than three months in advance . Payment in full is due 30 days before arrival. Once you have indicated that you would like to book our guest house, we will email or mail our booking information to you. You will have three days to return it signed (via toll-free fax or 5 days via regular mail - please email us that it has been mailed) and with the appropriate rental amount due (if within 30 days of arrival). If we have not received the signed Rental Agreement and fee (if applicable at time of booking) due within the 3-5 day period, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. There is a 10% discount for stays of 7 nights or more (except during holiday periods).

We charge appropriate state taxes and fees. These total 11.42% of the total rental amount owed.

CANCELLATIONS

MORE THAN 30 DAYS FROM ARRIVAL THERE IS NO CANCELLATION FEE.

LESS THAN 30 DAYS FROM YOUR SCHEDULED ARRIVAL:

You are liable for the entire fee indicated on the Rental Agreement. If we are able to re-book all of the days coinciding with your cancelled reservation, we will return the corresponding rental amount to you less a 10% fee.
Please inquire about our special booking and cancellation policies during holiday periods. Transferring the dates of your rental may be allowed without forfeiture of rent owed only by approval of Owner.

We highly recommend Travel Insurance issued by a reputable insurance company.

Bookings are not guaranteed until payment has been received and processed by us and, until then, are subject to change or cancellation for any reason. Please see our Rental Agreement for further details and information on our rental policies and owner's liability.


CLEANING

Your guest house will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival and in the condition you will generally find a fine hotel room. You are required to leave the guest house in generally the same condition as when you arrived. Three hours of cleaning is included in the cost of your rental. Any excess hours spent cleaning by our housekeepers may be charged to you at the rate of $20 per hour.


SPECIAL TERMS

No pets, no smoking inside the houses, no parties or excessive noise are allowed in either house. Hale Ulu Lulu is a couples only home (no children). In Hale Manu, we accept one child over the age of 12. No execptions are made to these policies.

Once we have responded to your inquiry for available dates and you have indicated that you would like to make a reservation, we will send you a Rental Agreement to sign. This will include the dates of your stay, the total rental amount including applicable taxes and instructions on making your payment when it is due. When we have received your signed Rental Agreement and processed your payment (if it is due at that time), your reservation is confirmed and you can stop dreaming about paradise and start packing!
